Tax Free Shopping Days

South Carolina Residents, Read on...

The state of South Carolina is providing shoppers an extra discount on two of the busiest shopping days of the year. South Carolina's first post-Thanksgiving sales tax holiday will start at 12:01 a.m. Friday and end at midnight Saturday. Residents and businesses will pay no state sales tax on items from groceries to gifts to cars bought over those 48 hours. Legislators approved the two, sales-tax-free days earlier this year as part of a larger tax package. Unlike South Carolina's annual sales tax holiday for back-to-school items, this weekend's discount is a one-time event.

If you're a resident of South Carolina or visiting the area, take advantage of the tax free shopping days, Nov 24-25.
